Stopped at this RV park to pay for dump service and fill my propane, I pulled in at 12:09 pm, apparently they stop all service at noon, I pulled out in the shoulder of the main road in front of the park, calling other places to take care of my needs, when a greasy looking dude walks up and tells me I have to move while I'm on the phone, I was completely off the road, not on their grass, I tell him I'm leaving in a moment, 45 seconds later he comes back and says,"Seriously, you have to move!"
Number one you little control freak, I was on a public road.
Number two, I was on the phone, illegal to drive and talk on the phone.
Number three, I had been parked no more than 2 minutes before the greasy control freak approached.
Very rude, I would not waste my money there, if he patrols the public roadway, I can only imagine how bad he would be if you rented from them.

I loved the neighbors and the ability to stay for long periods of time especially because our family lives near by. The fact that there is so much traffic in & out with not too much parking was my only concern. Over all a solid place

The sites are pretty flat and level. There is a train track right adjacent to the camp ground. So be aware that trains will go by periodically. We couldn't make a reservation on line and no one answered the phone. We had to go in and camp then pay the next day.

We’ve now stayed at this park twice. In May 2025, my wife played a soccer tournament at Cherry Island Soccer Complex, about 25 minutes from the park. We couldn’t see spending almost $400 for a hotel for two nights and Loomis Rv Park had much better reviews than any RV Park closer to the fields. We were not disappointed. It was quiet (it’s a couple of miles from the freeway), nice restrooms and showers, and just 5 minutes from several restaurants. It appears that most sites are occupied by long-stay guests, perhaps construction staff. There are a few sites that are perfect for our size rig and we had full hookups at site 3. We did hear the nearby train a few times overnight, but not too disturbing.
For our second stay we arrived late (around 7:20 pm) from our granddaughter’s tournament at Cherry Island and found that our reserved site 11 was already occupied. Although they were not supposed to be there, Mike, the manager, found that the occupants were not present at the time we arrived. Fortunately, he found us a suitable alternative one, site 40, that was perfect for our 21 ft camper van. With the delay in getting us a site and our dinner getting cold that we had picked up from nearby Buckhorn BBQ & Grille, we didn’t even bother to use the hookups. This site was even quieter that the one we had in May and, in fact, we never heard the train.
Even with the reserved site snafu, we would stay here again - it is clean, quiet, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Love the picnic tables, love the shade, love the grass, and love how much space each spot has! Stayed here 2 weeks and was very happy with the place. Good amenities. Seems like a great spot for a family. Plenty of kids running around. And the plentiful trees made a HUGE difference for keeping the RV cool during the hot hot summer of Sacramento
