What Guests Are Saying
Oh Ridge Campground offers a stunning location with beautiful lake access and spacious, clean campsites, making it a favorite for families and returning visitors. Despite some issues with restroom accessibility and a lack of showers, most guests appreciate the friendly staff and the well-maintained facilities. While there are concerns about parking fees and campground maintenance, the overall atmosphere and scenic views make it a desirable camping destination.

Great site and great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our only regret was not staying longer.

Great campsite. Beautiful weather. Clean restrooms nearby. One of the best campgrounds in the Sierras.

Had a very nice time. The staff were great. They even gave this old guy a golf cart ride from the lake to my camp site when the wind took out my Easy-up canopy leaving me with no shade. They were very helpful with firewood and other items as well. I was very pleasantly surprised to find 'flushies' instead of pit toilets. Water was nearby with two spigots in the loop.

Another wonderful visit to Oh Ridge at June Lake! The campground is well-maintained, quiet & full of friendly campers, we were disappointed that the dump station was not in service and we had to go into Lee Bining to dump our rv tanks.

Absolutely loved the camp hosts and staff in general. JD especially was so helpful and gives you a pretty good chuckle!
The only reason it’s got fewer stars is the campground wasn’t my favorite due to the dust and sand. Would be nice if it had grass or more tree coverage. But that’s just me being picky! Great place overall for someone other than me haha

Camp management did not give proper notice about events closing down the main beach on 08/16 and 08/17. Older gentlemen, not as old as the others, around 50's of age, was an asshole about the $10 parking fee, when he stopped me at about 0700am, when I informed him I just wanted to see the parking situation and walking distance of the 2nd beach, he refused and was pressuring me for 10 dollars just to go see the area regardless if it was going to be less than a minute.
Bathrooms were down, 08/16 due to power outage, from 0830-1930ish. Confusion about which bathroom to use since they said the first beach and bathroom were closed for said event.
Not to mention the woman standing post on the day of check in, seemed annoyed I used a Veteran Golden State pass and made it seemed as if she was doing me a favor by accepting it.
Really bad experience with camp hosts, 2nd occurrence, I let it slide first time around in 2023 with a different experience. Mind you, my Veteran Golden State pass wasnt an issue also beach parking fee was non existent that time.

Parker Lake Trail was an easy to moderate hike and dog friendly. Hiking in the Mammoth area is only 15 miles away with Duck Pass Trail and the Hot Creek Trail both dog friendly. Had site #8 at Oh Ridge 8/6 to 8/10. This is a very high time of year for lots and lots of kids and people pulling in and setting up camp next to you at 10pm to 11pm at night. Campsites #10 - #6 are a bit crowded together. You can hear your neighbors unzipping their sleeping bags. I won't come this time a year again, just too many kids, but awesome weather and you are in the Sierras.

Campground was nice, with good views. Some issues with noisy campers after 10 pm quiet hours.
