Oh Ridge Campground is highly praised for its beautiful location near June Lake, friendly and helpful staff, and well-maintained facilities. Many campers enjoyed spacious sites with easy access to various outdoor activities, including fishing, hiking, and swimming. While some noted issues with noise, lack of shade, and aggressive squirrels, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many planning to return.

Although the Rabbit loop was full, the campground was peaceful and quiet. The scenery is beautiful. The campsites are close together, but I was there for the June Lake Jam Fest, so I was mostly there to sleep and make breakfast. The squirrels jumped inside my van and climbed up my leg. I don't feed wildlife for that reason. I liked how the bathroom was centrally located.

Amazing campsite, some of the cleanest restrooms I’ve ever seen at a campsite. The staff was very friendly and helpful. June Lake was a short walk away or an easy drive away. Only $10 to take your car to the lake which we did for an easier set-up for our canopy and paddle boards. I’d say the only downside was how close the campsites were to each other, but our stay was still phenomenal. The cell reception with Verizon was really good, surprisingly. We had 5G reception with full bars just as good as our reception at home in the Bay Area.

Campsites are very close to each other, not that much shade but we already knew before booking it. We saw deer and does by the campground. When we where just arriving my family and I had an unpleasant experience with a camp host who was cleaning the restroom he said his name was (Emilio) my mother who is partially blind and has a language barrier was waiting to use the bathroom the ones she thought was for women but it was for men. Emilio (Camp host) was cleaning the mens restroom and rather than politely redirecting my mom to the correct restroom we overheard him yelling “WOMENS BATHROOM OTHERSIDE” on which I was just arriving and I heard it through my vehicle and saw his reaction. I asked my partner to take my mother to the correct restroom, once Emilio saw that my mother was not by herself he was acting polite. Once I was able to park I politely asked him why he approached and raised his voice to my mother if she was confused why not redirecting her to correct restroom. I asked him if was unprofessional and we witnessed his interaction. After he denied it and clarified he did not he was trying to be friendly as possible. After 10 minutes passed he made another loop in the golf cart to give us fishing recommendations, and once again apologized if it seemed that he was being unpleasant with my mother. That situation made our camping trip less enjoyable.

Have camped here multiple times over the years. Enjoy the open views from this campground relative to the others in the June Lake loop. Only negative is the recent addition of the $10 parking fee if you want to use the parking at the beach. Used to be free if you paid for a campsite.

This campsite is TRULY stunning! We didn’t want to leave. I made a reservation months in advance and still wasn’t prepared to have such beautiful sunrises with the sun glistening on the mountains and chipmunks running around. The only downside is the walk to the bathroom which feels farther away in the middle of the night and the lack of privacy from neighbors on both sides. Be prepared to stare at your camp neighbors while you both eat at your picnic tables and hear their conversations throughout your stay. However, the view is stunning! Being able to walk to June Lake and see local deer was truly an experience. Can’t wait to come back!
