Site 50 at Squirrel was on the smaller side but was located near a water spigot, bathroom and beach trailhead which was convenient. Lots of chipmunks so use your bear box! Can get windy in the evening so stake down your tents and canopies.

Oh Ridge Campground is a scenic, well-maintained campground. Great for star gazing!! I have been camping there for a week every summer for the last 15 years. It’s amazing how crowded the June Lake beach has become over the last 10. The campground is doing the best they can to manage this rise in patronage, but one thing they need to do a lot better is to create a traffic lane to let the people who have a campsite have their own lane back into the campground while there is a long line of cars waiting to get to the beach. The fact that campers have to wait 10 to 20 minutes to get back to their site after going to buy ice or run an errand is ridiculous! Otherwise it’s a lovely site. You do absolutely need to Be Bear Aware!! … Also, the chipmunks will eat your food immediately if you leave it unattended for even a second! They’re out of control.

Beautiful, but crowded campground and beach . Just know you won’t exactly be signing up for peace and quiet, but you’ll be so close to so many incredible places in the area. If you don’t plan on spending much time at the camp, it’s a great spot.

Our family has been camping at Oh Ridge for over 20 years, and it continues to be one of our favorite campgrounds in the Eastern Sierra. We love the beautiful setting, and it's a place where we've made many wonderful family memories.
I especially want to recognize our camp host, Emil. He was, hands down, the best camp host we have encountered in all of our years of camping at Oh Ridge. He was friendly, approachable, helpful, and genuinely engaged with campers. He consistently went out of his way to make sure everyone was having a great experience. Emil is an outstanding representative of Oh Ridge, and I hope he receives the recognition he deserves.
Unfortunately, we also had an encounter with another camp host who was at the other end of the spectrum. The interaction was unnecessarily hostile and could have been handled with a simple conversation. It was an unnecessary and unpleasant encounter that left a lasting negative impression.
Afterward, we went to the kiosk to resolve the issue. Karen assisted us, apologized for the host's behavior, and quickly helped resolve the issue. She was kind, professional, and courteous, and we sincerely appreciated the way she handled the situation.
While this incident was upsetting, it did not diminish how much we love Oh Ridge or our appreciation for the many wonderful staff members who make it such a special place. We hope Emil and Karen will be recognized for the exceptional service they provide, and I also hope the incident with the other host is addressed so that every visitor is treated with the courtesy and respect they deserve.

Great spot. Beautiful view of the lake. Bathrooms near by and clean. A trail for a quick walk down to the beach is near by. Perfect. Oh Ridge in general is by far the best campground I've stayed at.

Sights are really nice some are uneven, but not too bad.
If you get the sites that are kind of far from the lake, you really do need an ebike, it makes everything really easy, and you can access everything around

we stayed at the campsite 62, with view on the lake.
the campsite is great, the only thing was the lack of shade. only one three big enough to cover the camp. shade was only available after 4pm... full sun the rest. pretty hot

Oh Ridge Campground is 350 miles north of Los Angeles and 150 miles south of Reno, Nevada. Take U.S. Highway 395 to its southern junction with Highway 158. Take 158 for 1 mile. Turn right on North Shore Drive. Go approximately 1 mile and turn left on Pine Cliff Road. Go 0.5 mile to campground entrance.
Oh Ridge Campground is accessible via U.S. Highway 395, which is approximately 1 mile from the campground via Highway 158.

General
- Reserved Sites will be held until the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of the second day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests. Please call the office at 760-934-5795 if you need to inform the campground of an arrival time greater than 24 hours after your arrival date, or if you will not use your reservation whatsoever.
- Please Note: One RV with tow per single site or one vehicle per tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. In accordance with standard industry practices, Inyo Recreation will assess an additional $10.00 extra vehicle fee per day for the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicle in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered one vehicle, and the third and fourth motorcycle are also considered one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles.
- This is a high elevation facility; please use caution when traveling from lower elevations; campground usually not clear of snow until late May or early June
- Be bear aware; keep all food out of site in approved containers or locked inside your vehicle and remove all food from area after eating; always keep a clean camp and do not feed any wild animals; campground host has bear literature
- Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. For current fire conditions or weather closures contact the Mammoth Lakes Visitor Center, (760) 924-5500, or the Mono Lakes Visitor Center, (760) 647-3044.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect California's forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. For more information visit firewood.ca.gov.

- PASS DISCOUNTS: You must provide your pass and photo identification upon check in. If you received a pass discount for which you were not eligible, you must pay the difference in price upon arrival.
