Such a gem! Itβs a beautiful campground with fairly private sites and Lake or creek access. Donβt forget to go across the street to the silver lake cafe for a delicious breakfast!

Beautiful and relaxing. One thing to be aware of is there is a plant there that looks nice but if your skin makes contact with it it HURTS REALLY BADβΌοΈ itβs called Stinging Nettle. It burns you. Unfortunately, my daughterβs site had huge bushes of it surrounding one whole side of her camp site, near the picnic bench and the sitting area. It seems dangerous to allow a plant that hurts you so badly near the living space and there is no sign anywhere near that huge bush that is down one whole side of that camp site that indicates that it is dangerous. We had dogs and a 1 year old at that site.

The campground and hosts were great. VERY disappointed that helicopter tours appeared to be happening every day and they took off close by and flew over the lake, disturbing peaceful kayak paddle, and Im sure the fishermen hated it too.
Also blaring live music across the street in the RV park. Maybe trees should be planted on the campground near roadside for more privacy! This would help campsites that dont have any shade too!

The campground is immaculate and is well maintained. Everything works and the campground is clean. The camp hosts (Mark and partner) are incredible and very helpful and are the reason for the excellent condition of every feature of the campground. Bathrooms are clean, showers are refreshing, water is drinkable and every site is inviting and private. The hosts enjoy what they are doing and are proud of their accomplishments.
I have been camping at Silver Lake since I was 5 (over 60 years!) and try to come back every year. The campground took a beating in 2020, but this year it is back to the pristine campground I remember and love. I assume the new permanent hosts are the reason.
The views are amazing, the campsites are like the ones you see in a magazine and the other campers that go to Silver Lake are enjoyable to get to know. The small quiet roads that surround the campground are perfect for young families to ride bikes or walk.
And the store that is a short walk from any campsite has everything you could possibly need and is staffed by helpful and friendly people. Silver Lake is an amazing place.
