Love this campground but, we were in site 33 for the second time. Could you widen the pad? Soooo skinny for trailer And stairs.

DO NOT reserve space #10 if you have a trailer! The asphalt parking space is only about 20 feet long and you cannot put out an awning even if you are able to get out of your trailer. Your door opens directly into stinging nettle bushes! This is a nice campsite but for a small motorhome or a small class C. You have to be able to exit your camper from the passenger side. Also, even if you have a small teardrop, this space is so small you would not have room to park your tow vehicle and there is nowhere else to park it for maybe 100 yards.

WOW...What a start to the season for Silver Lake Campground ? !
With all the snow runoff the lake level had flooded the campsite I had reserved 6 months ago (#23) and the campground opened 1 week later, so my visit was limited to only one week. Kim the new South Host was a great help getting me moved to another campsite...but it was "Betty's Husband"...Mark that really set the move in gear by getting in touch with his Supervisor.
Thanks for all your help Mark, Betty and Kim...I still managed to have a fun trip and catch a few big Trout...!
I'll be back up at Silver in mid June for hopefully a full two weeks of fishing and hiking.

General
- This is a high elevation facility; please use caution when traveling from lower elevations
- Be bear aware; keep all food out of site in approved containers or locked inside your vehicle and remove all food from area after eating; always keep a clean camp and do not feed any wild animals; campground host has bear literature
- Only 2 pets per site allowed.
- Fire Restrictions: Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed. For current fire conditions or weather closures contact the Mammoth Lakes Visitor Center, (760) 924-5500, or the Mono Lakes Visitor Center, (760) 647-3044.
- Please Note: One RV with tow per single site or one vehicle per tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. In accordance with standard industry practices, Inyo Recreation will assess an additional $10.00 extra vehicle fee per day for the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicle in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered one vehicle, and the third and fourth motorcycle are also considered one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles.
- Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of the second day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests.
- Once your reservation start date has begun, neither the Recreation.gov Contact Center nor the campground manager will be able to modify your reservation.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect California's forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. For more information visit firewood.ca.gov.

- PASS DISCOUNTS: You must provide your pass and photo identification upon check in. If you received a pass discount for which you were not eligible, you must pay the difference in price upon arrival.
