Not many fish this year. Scenery very beautiful as usual. Camp hosts nice but camping next door was like camping next a quickie mart, very noisy. Not exactly a relaxing vacation.

This campground is super windy. Our tent was leveled by the strong winds.

Great location to enjoy the June Lake loop lakes and local hikes. Wonderful scenery right on Silver Lake. Good facilities - showers were closed due to COVID which we knew when we booked. A power outage meant that the restrooms were not available which did create a challenge. Its a few miles to the restrooms at the nearby June Lake campgrounds and when you gotta go............ We were departing the day this problem happened so I can't comment on how long the bathrooms were out of service. The camp grounds offer a good size and if you are on sites in the teens and twenties there are hedges that provide a wind break and an element of privacy. Other sites are more open and the wind does blow off the lake. A relatively short drive to Bodie ghost town which is well worth setting aside 2-3 hours to view. Unfortunately HWY120 was still closed due to winter snows so we couldn't get in to Yosemite . The campground location is great to allow that if the roads are open. Across the street is a separate resort where you can rent boats to go on the lake, Also a camp store for essentials and a cafe/restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Overall a great experience

Our favorite place to find tranquility and peace. We are always rejuvenated aft a stay at silver. Even more exciting with a couple days of snow! We were also pleased that the entire campground is now reservations only. Keeps the park quiet and less stressful seeing folks driving around waiting for a site to pounce on!
