clean restroom, clean campground, friendly staff. Prepare for long dusty narrow gravel road, but well worth it. Beautiful hiking along the Merced river and great swimming in the river

No bathrooms were found. You have to park on top of hill and walk down to the campground. You have to drive about 4 miles on unpaved road to get to the campsite.

Was honestly not expecting the 7 mile dirt road to the actual site after going over a wooden suspension bridge. It was a little narrow on the road, but passable. I was also not expecting to park on the road above the site and hike down all our gear. Site was pretty well shaded for a majority of the day, and the walk down to the river side was not bad at all. Woke up to pack up campvas it started to rain and found a baby rattle snake under my son's tent, but it was luckily too chilly that morning for it to want to move in defense. Camp host/ranger was very nice and answered all my questions when he came to check the sites and clean the trash and restroom.

Great experience at Site 19. Close to the bathroom, which was very well-maintained. There are nice big trees to provide shade, but the close access to the river was critical to beat the serious summer heat. Very refreshing to take a dip and relax in the calm water. Lots of birds, frogs, and tadpoles!

While $28 per night is a bit steep for a tent site for one night for this Easterner, the campgrounds at Briceburg are reliably clean, quiet enough, and well managed. I see the multiple utility of charging a fee for site booking, but maybe the fee could be reduced if additional nights are booked, and still serve all the same purposes, aside of course from revenue. The landscape is beautiful and full of recreational opportunities. The river offers great tent-side bathing, and the potable water tap at the ranger station is a big help. The road in is dusty and long, and travelled heavily enough as to present some minor air quality annoyance, but overall this is a desirable place to stay.

Was a family of 15 who were disrespecting the camp ground n nature around. Were touching other campers items n were in campers campsites. Were playing loud music at night n were throwing trash in the water n ground. Overall the campsite is amazing n nice just the people who were there didnt deserve it.

Such a nice place to stay. Quiet and peaceful, with the lullaby of the Merced River in the background.

This has got to be my favorite campsite I have stayed at. Beautiful setting. It is clean, quiet, has direct river access. The vault toilets were very clean! We had a small interaction with one of the staff, who was very friendly as well. Definitely will be coming back next year!

Love the lake near the campsite! So peaceful and away from crowds. The non paved road is a little rough along with only a bathroom with a hole in the deep of the earth, but cleaned daily might be a bit challenging for some. Make sure you have enough water to wash your hands and use. There is a cute eatery near by that has awesome broccoli soup and good sandwiches. Also, try the river rafting right across the eatery , they give you a nice experience! Have fun! Don’t forget to fill up your water supply before you enter the non paved road! There is a sign that warns you as well :) Enjoy those beautiful night stars ⭐️
