This is a wonderful place to stay in winter. Its warm, cozy, and with spectacular service. Heidi made our stay even more enjoyable. Despite our Airstreams leaking in the rain, it did not bother us because Heidi ensured our experience remained exceptional.

Wanted to love our stay since the photos and instagram account looked so cozy & offered a different experience. Unfortunately, this was a 2.5 star stay at-best. Upon check-in, keep in mind we booked our reservation several months in advance, and checked-in at 4pm. Counter clerk barely looks up to greet us and makes it seem like we were bothering her to check-in. “Umm I guess I’ll have to move things around to see where we can put you”…. Put us?! Hospitality automatic ZERO. Then I ask, “is check-in at 4pm like the reservation states?” And she sarcastically says “well it’s 4:03 so it just hit 4”…so don’t check in at 4pm like your site says? Never experienced this in the many states and countries I have visited. So, we were asked to take a seat while we wait for our room.
Very poor first impression, I already knew we would never be back based on this nor ever recommend. We reserved the Premium Secluded Vista Airstream Suite. Looks fun on the outside, inside was a bit worn down and old. Not like the instagram photos showing new, beautiful interiors. If you need an overnight stay, sure it’s a good place to catch some sleep. But don’t expect anything else. For the price, you would think they would at least give you fire wood for the pit outside of your airstream but you have to buy a $20 bag, advertised to “burn for over 2 hours” and it barely lasted 15 minutes. You can’t make this up LOL.
Very basic stay, unfortunately, did not meet expectations based on their websites extremely filtered photos. The only plus is a nice, small town 15 minutes away in Mariposa.

My wife and I had a great time at Autocamp Yosemite! We had the Vista Airstream Suite and really enjoyed the location of it, the cleanliness, the onsite amenities, and warm interactions with the staff. It felt like the staff were really happy to be there which made our trip much more pleasant. This location is about 50 minutes away from the Yosemite Lodge which isn't bad at all. The Wifi onsite was also pretty consistent and we were able to do all of the normal things like check emails, take zoom calls, etc.
This was our first time at Autocamp but certainly not the last! We'll be back soon.
P.S. the highlight of Autocamp was the Astronomer coming onsite and showing us all of the stars and planets with his mega telescope-it was awesome!

AutoCamp Yosemite is the perfect blend of luxury and glamping. The location is excellent—close enough to Yosemite Valley while still feeling tucked away in nature. There’s a small, charming pond at the center of the property that really adds to the forest vibe.
One of the biggest highlights for us was that it’s dog-friendly, which meant we could bring our dog along and truly enjoy Yosemite together. The clubhouse is a cozy indoor space with a fireplace, comfortable seating, and a few food options—and the pizza was so good.
We visited in winter, and while it was chilly outside, the camper vans were well-equipped with great heating and hot water—absolute essentials. The van itself is thoughtfully designed, minimal yet completely sufficient, and very comfortable for a couple.
Being surrounded by woods also means zero light pollution, making the night sky feel absolutely surreal. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’ll definitely be back.

My daughter and I just got back from a perfect four night stay at AutoCamp Yosemite. Check-in was easy and the staff was helpful at every turn. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and eager to assist us. We stayed in a Premium BaseCamp Suite; the tent was large, luxurious, and comfortable. The Airstream was also comfortable and clean, and supplied with everything needed for an amazing stay. We made s’mores right at the grill/fire pit at our campsite! We enjoyed daily breakfast and some delicious nightly snacks and dinner in the beautiful ClubHouse. I loved having my morning coffee at the Club House’s modern fire pit, and their live music in the evenings. I started my Saturday morning with a fantastic yoga class in the gym before heading to Yosemite National Park… AutoCamp is conveniently located about 30-40 minutes away, and only 10 minutes away from the town of Mariposa, where we shopped and dined. We were sad to check-out on our final morning. I highly recommend AutoCamp Yosemite for a peaceful stay if you want to be submerged in nature with all the amenities of a luxury hotel. We can’t wait to return!
