It was great weather. The campground was clean. The bathrooms were 'strong' but clean. We did have a bear visit our campsite about 2am so remember to use your bear box and don't sleep with food!

I've wanted to camp at Fowlers for a long time, & finally got my chance mid-October. Very few people during the week, & though there were more on the weekend, it still felt pretty quiet. Sites are set up for maximum privacy, & there's plenty of room between sites. This campground seemed to draw really nice people, too.
This area is really beautiful, & well-maintained trails to waterfalls go right through the campground, so it's easy to take beautiful walks without driving. The paved walkway along the river makes much of it accessible to all.
Good place for dogs, with enough wild areas adjacent to the campsites. Great swimming holes for dogs in the river, as well.

This is a great campground. Tons of space - you aren’t on top of the other campers. It was very clean.

The campground host was rather rude.
People, please do not feed deer.

The site is so beautiful and peaceful. It was just a short hike to both AMC Cloud lower and middle waterfalls. The hike to middle waterfall is so gorgeous and perfect for my fur babies. The campsite is clean even the port a potty- toilet paper available and every day, someone is cleaning them. The spot are not too close to each other and can feel some privacy. We were there beginning of October and even though the campsite was almost full- the place was quiet. The host of the site was also very welcoming and sweet. We will come back for sure!
