Clean, well organized campground. Friendly people and no cell phone or internet which is a rare find nowadays and allows you to actually enjoy nature without distraction.

We loved this campground. It was difficult to level our RV but the spot was close to the lake and we had a view of only trees, very spacious spot it was. In the evening three deer passed by. We loved the Manzanita Lake, we walked the trail. And the next morning we did some nice shopping in the camping store. Great atmosphere all together!

The campground is great, but people reserve campsites, don't show up & they sit empty while other last minute campers are turned away. I can understand reservations being required for busy parks in summer, but not in all parks all the time.

The sites are a good size with room between your neighbors. We come yearly and always enjoy our experience. The only issue we had was the sloping of the drive-thru site (B-04). There is a 5" slant which was hard to level out. I pulled the trailer up to top and could compensate for the 4" there. Would I go back again. YUP.

Manzanita Lake campground is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The campground and facilities are clean and well kept. We took our inflatable kayaks and launched them in Manzanita Lake. The water was clear enough to see the trout swimming about below us. We didn't have much luck catching them but then we didn't try too hard either. The views of Lassen peak from the lake were spectacular.

I preferred the previous policy of having some 1st come 1st served campsites. It appeared to me that there were available sites at both Manzanita Lk and Summit Lk that were impossible to utilize due to the new online only reservations.

Facilities were awesome here, super quiet, and easy. Only bummer is a lot of Lassen NP is closed.

D loop (tents only) was very quiet during my visit. Ten minute walk to the lake via the trail along side campsites. I will be back!
