We stayed 2 nights at Manzanita Lake campground enjoyed it very much. It was a beautiful campground. Very quiet and relaxing.
It was nice to have a camp store we could walk to. The staff there couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful.

Beautiful campground surrounded by tall pine trees. Quiet and peaceful. Decent space between each site but we had the impression that the pad was longer. Friendly staff. The drive through Lassen park was beautiful.

Camping at LVNP is also a fun and enjoyable experience - this time was no different.
Although the campgrounds are usually full, the spacing and design still provides an experience of feeling as if one is in the outdoors.
The campsites are kept clean, the bathrooms are clean and tidy, I like having a water station nearby along with a station to clean dishes/pots/pans. It is nice to be able to walk to several of the trail heads in the area, if you don't want to drive further into the park.

Nie będę narzekał, bo miejsce jest popularne dopchane na maca i zarezerwowane na pół roku do przodu, a ja znalazłem lukę praktycznie z dnia na dzień. Miejsce fajne, świetne jezioro, drogi opał w recepcji, 15$ za małą paczuszkę opału to są kpiny, ale można sobie poradzić inaczej. Reszta jak na każdym campingu recreation.gov. Ogólne zdecydowanie polecam, miejcie tylko na uwadze, że tam jest cholernie zimno nocami i mój śpiwór polarny, zabrany "na wyrost" miał tam co robić.

Great place to stay. I was only there for one night but wished I had stayed longer. There were lots of amenities here, especially at the camp store. Would love to check out the cabins in the future.

Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
