Summit Lake North is praised for its great location within Lassen National Park, offering scenic views, easy access to hiking trails, and a beautiful lake for swimming. The campground is well-maintained with clean bathrooms and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite for visitors seeking a relaxing camping experience. However, some sites are closely spaced and lack shade, which may affect privacy and comfort.

This park was a gem to discover. All the rangers I engaged with were super friendly and helpful. The campsite (north summit lake) was well taken care of and quiet. I had some great hikes and the area is incredibly beautiful. I will return for a longer stay, and to hike on the eastern side of the park next.

The camp site is good with plenty of room and is realitivily flat. The campground is very clean and quiet. The only negative to this site is it is next to the restroom and people tend to walk thru the site as a short cut which gets annoying after a dozen different people did it.

This is a nice campground, right on the lake. Sites are equipped with bear boxes, tables, and easy access to water and toilets. I’m giving it 4/5 because the sites are really small and packed in

Beautiful location, quiet place to camp with no drunks or loud parties. Park rangers visible on patrols and bathrooms were very clean. Great place to camp!

I forgot my senior pass so when I entered the park I showed them a picture of my pass. But I now know that doesn't work.
Why can't that work? !! If they only accept QR codes why don't you print a QR code on the pass.
Very frustrating. There's a bar code on the pass why won't that work?
Many of the parks don't have Wi-Fi so that's no help.
It's also difficult to download on your phone.
This needs to be easier.
