What Guests Are Saying

Warner Valley Campground is a clean, well-maintained site with convenient access to water and trash disposal, and offers a peaceful, remote atmosphere perfect for tent camping. While the campground features several hiking trails and is known for its stunning night skies, visitors should be prepared for a rough gravel road and some primitive restroom facilities. A few campers experienced issues with campsite reservations and specific site conditions, but overall, the tranquil setting and cleanliness make it a hidden gem worth visiting.

The campground is small and well laid out. The bathrooms were well lit and clean. Water and trash were close. I used the bear boxes, which were large.

I love this campground for tent camping. Some cites are better than others but the vibes are all there. Hop on a trial for a couple mile hike and you won’t be disappointed. The gravel road is not good for low cars.

Very remote and peaceful location. The restroom facilities are primitive but the quiet and peaceful setting more than make up for it. It is a long drive on logging roads and gravel, and I was starting to wonder if I was going in the right direction, but it was worth the trouble.

Campground is definitely very secluded. You have to drive on a gravel road for 10miles or so. The site has no shade so be aware of that. It could definitely be hot in the summertime. There are several trails the start near the campground. The toilets are pit toilets but were very clean and didn’t smell at all. There is also no cell service.

Lovely site (17, seemed the largest and among the most private). Description should include the long gravel road with stream crossing.

I love how remote this campground is! It’s very quiet, almost too quiet! The bathrooms were cleaned daily and the trash was also emptied daily. It’s about an hour drive to Lassen Volcanic NP which isn’t too bad. The creek is also another way to enjoy your stay. We look forward to coming back!
