What Guests Are Saying
Summit Lake North is praised for its great location within Lassen National Park, offering scenic views, easy access to hiking trails, and a beautiful lake for swimming. The campground is well-maintained with clean bathrooms and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite for visitors seeking a relaxing camping experience. However, some sites are closely spaced and lack shade, which may affect privacy and comfort.

The campsite is basically on the road and there was no place to pitch the tent except between the fire pit and the picnic table. There may have been other space, but due to covid the adjoining tent sites had all ready spread out there tents and if there hadn't been a picnic table, I wouldn't have known it was a site. Please take remove this site. It is subpar even during non covid times. I ended up moving to the walk in site next to the visitor center.
