Summit Lake South is a scenic and well-kept campground with decent privacy and easy access to nearby lakes and trails. Many campers appreciated the tranquility and cleanliness, enjoying amenities like potable water and flat camping spots. However, some noted issues with campsite spacing, uneven parking, and noise from nearby campers, while others mentioned the impact of the recent fire on the area's natural beauty.

Great spot with short walk to lake. Water right across the driveway. Bathrooms the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a pit toilet at. National park. Pretty level driveway. Good spot for tent. Bugs not too bad

Summit North has better facilities and easier access to the lake but south was enjoyable and quiet

Great place to camp with the fam. Pack in pack out. There were faucets for water and vault toilets located through out.
