Great place to camp with the fam. Pack in pack out. There were faucets for water and vault toilets located through out.

Summit Lake South is a scenic and well-kept campground with decent privacy and easy access to nearby lakes and trails. Many campers appreciated the tranquility and cleanliness, enjoying amenities like potable water and flat camping spots. However, some noted issues with campsite spacing, uneven parking, and noise from nearby campers, while others mentioned the impact of the recent fire on the area's natural beauty.

Nice space! We were next to the water and restrooms and still the campground was quiet.

We stayed in the tent only area on loop E. Walking distance to the lake, full moon, thousands of stars. Beautiful, quiet, and LOVED it!

No camphost, quite private sites. Some regulars there, calm and nice experience.
