Campground was quiet and right on lake which had great spots to relax and dip in water. Also was near some nice trails.

Summit Lake South is a scenic and well-kept campground with decent privacy and easy access to nearby lakes and trails. Many campers appreciated the tranquility and cleanliness, enjoying amenities like potable water and flat camping spots. However, some noted issues with campsite spacing, uneven parking, and noise from nearby campers, while others mentioned the impact of the recent fire on the area's natural beauty.

Loop E is the quietest, the loops close to the lake are busier. It was quiet at night and dark - nice for seeing stars.

Great campsite, location is amazing, lots of bathrooms and water available. Every site has a bear locker. Biggest downside was just size of sites- very little privacy in the campground and some sites are really just big enough for a tent and not much else.
