Good site for tents or car camping. Quiet campground, not too close to neighbors. Site was convenient to the vault toilet. Plenty of shade.

Summit Lake South is a scenic and well-kept campground with decent privacy and easy access to nearby lakes and trails. Many campers appreciated the tranquility and cleanliness, enjoying amenities like potable water and flat camping spots. However, some noted issues with campsite spacing, uneven parking, and noise from nearby campers, while others mentioned the impact of the recent fire on the area's natural beauty.

C7 is a great campsite. Spacious enough for a family and 2 tents. Parking fits 2 cars as well. Lots of trees and shade as well and close enough to the restrooms without being too close.

This campsite was clean, quiet, and accessible. Pit toilets were very clean and well-maintained. We had easy access to water spigots, restrooms, trailheads, and lakeside seats for a day of swimming and sunshine. We will definitely come again! (Campfires are prohibited… could be seasonally) Bring a gas grill for s’mores!

It was nice to have camp sites in a national park that were not packed together, nice to have some elbow room. The water, trash and recycling ins were near by.

The location of the campground is excellent for access to hikes in the park. The lake in late August was perfect for a post-hike swim.

This is a very serene campsite. Beautiful trees surround a gorgeous, small like. The restrooms, although pit toilets, are clean and free of disturbing odors. There isn't water in the restrooms, but plenty of faucets located throughout the park. The campers were predominantly mid-age and older. No children running around, but my visit was after school had restarted, so this was anticipated.
