My campsite, E05, was comfortable, with good spacing from nearby campsites. Bathroom was very clean; bravo.

Summit Lake South is a scenic and well-kept campground with decent privacy and easy access to nearby lakes and trails. Many campers appreciated the tranquility and cleanliness, enjoying amenities like potable water and flat camping spots. However, some noted issues with campsite spacing, uneven parking, and noise from nearby campers, while others mentioned the impact of the recent fire on the area's natural beauty.

North Summit may be nicer because of the flush toilets. It was hard to get a site but surprisingly many sites were open so check back often and use the alerts.

Flat spot available for tent. Open and exposed to neighbors on both sides. Sunny with little shade in the heat of the day.
Pro tip: If you play music and the whole campground can hear you- you’re an @sshole.
Otherwise it was beautiful as always!

i had a great time. I didn't spend much time at the campground, but it was nice. I spent most my time on the wonderful trails. It's a great place to visit.

My site needed some maintenance. Too much overgrowth and not enough space for a level campsite and tent location.
Lots of vacancies and sites I could have moved to, but no ability to contact rec. gov since no data service there. just had no idea about space availability once on site at the campground.
