What Guests Are Saying

Cal-ida is a great campground with friendly campers, clean facilities, and a beautiful location, perfect for staging dirt biking and enjoying the nearby Yuba River. The shaded sites provide comfort during hot days, and the staff is attentive to cleanliness. However, some noise disturbances from neighbors and a lack of consistent water access were noted as drawbacks.

The creek is awesome the only problem is other campers dont have there dogs on leash and anytime I was cooking dogs would walk up to my camp site where I have my dog on a leash...

Great place to camp. No one bothers you, other campers were friendly.
They turned off the water part way through. Would have been nice to have water the whole time.

Great campsite with great shade. Not all of them had good tree cover but ours did and it was 90s during the day so we got lucky. Overall, this is a really clean campground with no trash. Easy to get in and out. We used it to stage for dirt biking and the trails in the area are top notch. We also got lucky that the neighboring sites were all really quiet. Made it enjoyable to spend time in the woods without anyone blasting music until 2am. The Yuba River is right across the highway and a great spot to cool off and relax. No showers and 2 vault toilets. They also had large dumpsters to dump trash which was nice not having to carry it out. We will certainly be back again next year.

The campground was great — the location is beautiful and not too crowded. The staff were very friendly, and the bathrooms were exceptionally clean. They came every day to clean and take out the garbage, which we really appreciated.

Unfortunately, we had neighbors next door who played loud music on a speaker until midnight and weren't very cooperative when we asked them to turn it down. It would be nice if there were a bit more control or enforcement around quiet hours.
