This campground was great; however, the location has its downside. It is right next to the I-80 freeway, so the traffic noise was loud. However, the river and the campsites were great. The camp host was helpful and polite overall we had a great time.

Camp hosts do not actively manage and are hard to track down. They double book sites and allow groups to buy additional sites for overflow parking, while not being able to accommodate the reservations that were made far in advance.

Our reserved site was given to walk-ins, then we were offered sites without a clear or level tent area, no bear lockers, and overgrown with bushes. After 45 min we were finally offered a decent site. The freeway and trains are loud in all parts of the campground.

My first time camping there. My girlfriend used to camp there when she was a kid and wanted a return visit. Very beautiful place! It wasn’t crowded at all when we arrived. The camp host was very helpful in changing our campsite to one closer to the river. Looking forward to camping there next summer.

Campground is near I80 Freeway and is noisy. Two sets of vault toilets in campground at each end of loop. But only one was open, the other was closed resulting in waits and longer walks - depending on your campsite location. Ours was near the closed toilets.

Campground was nice, traffic noise was to be expected due to the proximity to 80, but if you spend time near the amazing river (just steps from most of the sites), the sound of the water cancels out the traffic. The camp host was great and allowed us to switch sites (from 4 to 3) because another group left early. Campsite #4 was good, but #3 was more secluded and shady, and the pavement was more level for the small RV. I would camp here again!

The campground is clean and the hosts were present and helpful. Site 19 is the most private site available other than 2. It was close to a nice swimming hole. However the campground is very close to I80 and is very noisy.

The traffic noise from the freeway is loud sometimes but the site is convenient. The river was low and cold but always good for a swim.

We had a great campsite (#8) and our friends and I had virtually he entire campground to ourselves.
The constant noise from the freeway was loud. I mean real loud. We kind of figured there would be
freeway noise, but this was much worse than I had expected.
