What Guests Are Saying

Union Flat offers a beautiful location near the Yuba River, with clean bathrooms, tree coverage, and a peaceful atmosphere for camping. However, the campground lacks potable water, has significant noise from nearby Highway 49, and experiences issues with late-night disturbances from other campers. While some sites felt small and crowded, many guests appreciated the scenic surroundings and the soothing sound of the river.

Even on Memorial Day weekend this place was nice and quiet. Sites are decently spaced so you don’t have to hang out with your neighbors. Having the sound of the river meant we slept like logs.

Nice spot next to the river which drowns out car noise on hwy 49. Trash and recycling dumpsters near the entrance. Quiet. No potable water. No electricity in pit toilet bathroom. No problem for us!

No water spigot here. Plenty of water down the road at Loganville Campground.

Had the entire fam, and it was a small site, with lot's of highway 49 traffic very close. No water or cell service, the campground up the street was much better and no hwy noise

Hot and no running water here. Bathrooms were great and the river has a great swimming hole.
