Weather was great but good bathroom is across a street that people speed down, the bathroom on site was a hole in the ground, the access to river was a rough hike with kids

We had very, very loud neighbors the first night who were making lots of noise until past midnight. Our direct neighbors then left the next day because they were so bad. We told the camp host the next day. She dismissed our concerns. We then had more, even louder neighbors the second night.
The lack of basic decency and enforcement is making it harder and harder to stay at USFS campgrounds.

Nice campground, beautiful scenery. Campground host was very nice and welcoming. Close to downeville and mills peak mountain bike trails. The hike down to the river is a bit steep but manageable.

Terrible for children would avoid definitely not for beginner or intermediate campers. Definitely not for young people or trailers or RVs

Tent-only campground makes for a quieter experience. Far enough away from Hwy 49 and close enough to enjoy the white noise of the Yuba River. Hopefully, they fix the potable water problem.

Campsites were fairly spacious, and it was awesome having the swimming hole just a 5 minute "hike" away. Seriously the swimming hole was sick.
My only gripe was that the campsites weren't super clearly labeled, so it was a bit confusing determining which site was ours.

Highway access
Loganville Campground is accessible via Highway 49, which runs approximately 24 miles south from Sierraville and 17 miles north from Downieville.
Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
