What Guests Are Saying
Loganville offers spacious campsites and a fantastic swimming hole just a short hike away, making it a great spot for outdoor enthusiasts. The campground is well-maintained and provides a quiet, shady environment, ideal for relaxation. However, some amenities, like potable water and restroom facilities, could be improved, and campsite labeling can be confusing.

My absolute favorite campground in California! Quiet, pretty shady, sites are well spaced, and the BEST swimming hole around. Amazing proximity to Sierra Buttes and Lakes Basin hiking and the adorable towns of Downieville and Sierra City. Pit toilets in the campground and flush toilets available just across the road. There's a potable water spigot and RV dump station behind the restroom area across Hwy 49 but we found the taste of the water to sometimes be quite metallic so you may want to bring your drinking water. A bear came down the mountain across the river from us while we were sunning on our last morning so definitely use the provided bear boxes!

Great campsite for staying while MTB/moto riding at Downieville. Note that we reserved 3 sites together for a large group and site 10 is quite a ways away from 11 & 12.

I didn't know what to expect at Loganville. There were 9 of us on motorcycles camping 8 days across California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah. Our final night was Loganville. We loved the remoteness of the campground. The roads in to our sites for a motorcycle were challenging thought, but our group is pretty experienced. We had a nice dinner at Sierra Pines Resort and Breakfast at Red Moose Cafe in Sierra City. There are NO GAS STATIONS near there so be warned.
