Loud campers kept us from sleeping soundly all night (loud until 5am!), but the camp site was nice. Beautiful valley, with a really good hike up the mountain starting across the street from the campground.
Road noise was more than I care for, but not terrible. Would certainly come back!

Very spacious camp sites. Vault toilets were clean (smelly but what do you expect). Camp host was a welcoming gentleman.
Intense yet gorgeous hike right across the street. Would go again.

Camp is nice decent size for our pop up trailer at 25’ plus pop out. Many sites are shaded with privacy bushes.
Camp host disappears at 8pm so both nights we had campers close by up until 3am being very loud. So that was a major drag……

Great place for a quick getaway. Even though it's close the roadway it was nice and quiet with hiking trails.

Other campsites were really loud well past 10PM and we were not sure if it was addressed by the camp manager. The camp manager also came to our site and expressed discontent that we were only staying for one night as it made his job harder to put up the reservation signs, I wasn't sure if he was joking or not but it made two of the other campers uncomfortable. Other than that, the campsite was very clean before we arrived, and we enjoyed our one night stay!

Getting There
From Interstate 15 take the 79 East. The campground is on the north side of the highway, across from the fire station. From Temecula, take State Rt. 79 south 24.1 mi and turn left at campground sign.
Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
