Good place with a mix of flush and outhouse toilets. It's a little close to the road, so take that into consideration when looking at spots, and on the inside close to a farm so you better like roosters. I loved the old oaks and size of the sites, great for a couple families on one site. No front gate to consider, just the host who seems like a driven and pleasant individual. Could use more trashcans, but they are there if you look and don't use the map it lies.

The nearby oak grove trail is walking distance from the campground and makes for a really nice morning hike. In mid-march days were nice and warm, nights were still quite cold (freezing). Nighttime wildlife noises were an unexpected treat! The campsite itself was just fine. We had some pretty lousy neighbors who played loud music all day, and others who destroyed the surrounding plants to burn for fire because they came unprepared for the cold nights. But alas, you cannot control for that.

Close to the road but was quite at night. Friendly camp host. Great back up for when my favorite campgrounds are full,

Camp was amazing! Plenty of room at each site and close to a general store in case you need any essentials. The camp keeper was very friendly during check in as well!

Nice campsites but not as much tree shade around as I prefer. The oaks are not big oaks. Unfortunately not much to do around the campsite besides some uphill hikes. But I would still go for experience. More of a desert camping spot.

They had great secluded sites for tents and open sites for RVs. Every site comes with a fire pit and grill. Lots of families and friendly people, definitely a safe environment. Have AT&T and still had signal.
Overall everything was great!!!
