Campsite isn’t bad but is butt up against another site and an opposing site from another loop has their back to the site. Also closer to the highway. So there is road noise. Would definitely and try to get a site next to the creek instead.

Nice shady site, but noisy from the road because my site was too close.
I had hard time to find the entrance initially.
Hiking trail is very nice, half of trail is shady.

Really nice site and super friendly camp hosts when we were there. We were on site 007 which is small in comparison to the other campsites but it it right there on the creek and the kids had a blast discovering the waters edge. Mosquitoes were a major pain in the rear, so bring your spray! There are these little tiny mice that come out at night and go through any food left out so you need to pack it in when you go to bed. They are cute and they live in the tree to the right --- but we found them everywhere and one even made it's way into the tent. There is a highway right across from your site but only one car in an hour went by at night. There are also some pretty noisy bullfrogs until about midnight, then they all quit like they have a built-in clock!

Hosts were great. Campground is gorgeous! Creek sounds all night long! Lots of kids around. Bathrooms were vault, which means "cement port-a-potty." The town of Ojai is a short scenic drive to replenish supplies or sit at Starbucks to use wifi, because there is no wifi or cell service at the campground. Lake Casitas is nearby by car. You can rent a boat for the day and cruise around the lake. (No swimming allowed) Rose Valley Falls is a close drive too, The hike is very short. There wasn't that much water falling, but it was still cool and refreshing and beautiful! I highly recommend this campground! Some sites are absolute gems! others... meh...
