Zero effort to communicate from the resort staff, until I was 10 minutes late leaving after 5 days, then they called and wanted to charge me for an extension to 1pm. I left messages during our stay asking for a call back, never happened, no laundry facilities, no WiFi provided but there are wifi plans you can buy, far too expensive for what is provided, and the property is not kept is well, cannot not recommend, definitely not "resort status"

I had mixed feelings about our stay here. While the location and ocean views are absolutely beautiful, I was disappointed by the overall condition of the campground, especially given the price. This was the most expensive spot we stayed at along the PCH, and for what we paid, I honestly expected more.
Many of the RVs appeared semi-permanent, with lots of items stored outside and even fencing set up around some sites. That took away from the experience and made the park feel more like a long-term living area than a coastal resort. I paid extra to choose my site and selected one specifically for the island and ocean view, but even so, the surroundings did not match the premium price.
This was also my first Thousand Trails campground, so it’s possible my expectations were too high. Without the view, I think I might have preferred staying at a KOA. The property itself could really benefit from a refresh and more green space to better match the incredible location.
That said, the staff was outstanding. Rebecca at check-in was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. She truly made a positive impression and was the highlight of our stay.
Amazing views and wonderful staff, but the campground overall didn’t quite live up to the cost

5 stars for the amazing staff and incredible views! The team here is so friendly and helpful. We loved being right on the water and having shops and restaurants so close by. It made our trip so easy and enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

I stayed in this park 19 years ago when I first moved to SF. Its a great park. But unfortunately they lost some space when some of the cliff collapsed into the ocean. I have a great view and I am about 80 ft from the cliff. The sounds of the waves are enjoyable.
The laundry room is great, no need for quarters as there is an app that you can use. There is free coffee, coco, or tea in the lobby. There are two bath houses on property but one is currently under renovation.
The local longterm people are great and helpful.
Make sure you grease your trailer Jack's at the salty sea spray will rust them quick.
Easy walk to restaurants and shopping at Safeway or Ace Hardware. Dont forget to check out Mazzentti Bakery for some spectacular pastries.

The worst RV park we have ever stayed at. Only one bathroom for 150 sites because the other bathroom was being "remodeled". The only men's bathroom (furthest from our site) had a door malfunction and we had to call to get in and have it fixed. The dog run is not fenced, just a strip of mud and grass that blackened my dogs paws. The back gate is left wide open until after 11 pm and people come in from the street to use the showers, bathrooms and laundry. The freeway and airport noise was constant. No cable and we were not able to hook up to the wifi or get TV channels. Sites are tight so you get to look right into your neighbor's windows. Mostly full time residents. The club house is a small room between the bathrooms with some old tired games. For $126 we would have been better off parking on the street. The only plus is that you can walk to the ocean side of the park to whale watch but that can be seen even better from the street. This is no resort!
