We had an excellent experience backpacking and camping at Point Reyes! This was my first time taking my wife and kids with me, and it couldn’t have gone better.
The trail was clean and well maintained, with beautiful scenery along the way. Parking was easy, with plenty of spaces available. Our campsite was spacious enough for our group and had two picnic tables and two food-storage lockers.
The location was amazing—close to the beach, with beautiful views, caves, and a waterfall nearby. It was a great family adventure and an unforgettable first backpacking trip with my kids.
Highly recommend it! We’ll definitely be back.

Wrong details about camping sides. Doesn’t show accurate information. Online booking is not working properly

The hike to Glen Camp has plenty of shade but is up and down and up and down. The campsites are small and cozy.

Love this place! Has vault toilets, potable water, garbage and recycling cans and rodent boxes at every camp site to keep your stuff! I love that it's so close to the water, more trails and Alamere Falls! This time I saw a herd of 15 Elk walk through the camp!! Pretty awesome 👏
