Hidden View

Nice place. Seems to have a litter problem from the families that camp on the hills. The house fly swarms are completely intolerable! My traps would fill up in a day. I did notice all the male park rangers do all their routines daily for two weeks. But I also noticed a female ranger that kind of cheated those routines, and picked when and how to enforce the rules. All around me there were people hanging stuff from the trees and she said nothing to them. I've seen the rangers step by the same garbage and debris from loose roofing shingles, to underwear, and anything else, everyday. Some of the bottle caps in the road have probably been there a decade. It's sad when a stranger cares more than the people who are paid to protect it.

The dump station was closed middle of july?? Locks on the facilities for water refill, and our spot was crooked

It was nice. Rangers were helpful. Would come back again.

Visited at the end of June, so the lake water level was around 21%, but I was still able to paddle board, and several other groups had boats and jet skis on the water. Campsite #47 was clean and well-maintained, and a short walk to the restroom and water spout.

Great for a weekend at Yosemite!

The camp host was very hospitable and pleasant. Even coordinating a different spot due to noisy neighbors. She went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Very clean I would recommend my family and friends

It was absolutely beautiful! The layout and the area were extremely comfortable and welcoming. I’ve never felt so safe while camping with my family as I did here. The life jackets provided by the park made it much less stressful while my kiddos were in the water. I can’t wait to come back and make this a regular place for our family to visit!

We stayed here mid-week in late May. We used it as a basecamp to visit Yosemite. We loved the quietness of this campground. There weren't very many campers during our stay and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The flush toilets were nice and basic. There were showers as well, but we didn't . A volunteer campground host brought us our vehicle tag and gave us some area information. We were warned about a significant presence of rattle snakes during hot weather (thankfully it wasn't hot during our stay). I did have to track down the host the night before we left to get the dump station code from her. The proximity to Fresno was nice. The roads into the campground are not the greatest, but they were tolerable.
