Website advertises showers which are not available. Bathrooms are closed down due to covid 19 for health and safety reasons. Port a potties have been placed but no way of washing or sanitizing hands. How is this better than the bathrooms being open? Seems to me this is more unsanitary. Camp host seems grouchy at first but extremely helpful .... Be careful if you break the rules law enforcement is bound to write you a citation and he is not nice.

great trails to walk on around and by the Sacramento river. Quiet large camp sights, restful time away from the hub bub of life.

Very nice park setting with lots of space between sites. Access to the Sacramento River and paved trails.

The walking trails were very nice. Place seemed pretty clean and well kept.

The site was as expected and I would have rated higher except that ALL of the restrooms were closed... It's bad enough that Sycamore has no RV dump facility but for a pay site operational restrooms are essential. Nice walking trails all over though and host was accommodating however not a good view of the Sacramento River from the campsites which was a bit disappointing because the site map on the REC.Gov website looked promising.

We had a very nice time, enjoyed the bike paths and the hosts were very accommodating and helpful.

Pretty place. Everything you need. Fair price. Fire pits, grills, picnic tables. Good shower.
Toilet situation... odd. When I went all toilets were closed and port potty had not been serviced.
Spaces are spaced well.

This is a very nice campground which always has campsites available. Conveniently located and surrounded by miles of hiking trails. Beautiful view of Mount Shasta!

From Interstate 5 at Red Bluff, take Antelope Boulevard east for about a quarter-mile. Turn right (south) on Sale Lane continue for approximately 3 miles to the Red Bluff Recreation Area entrance gate. Continue on that road until you get to the Sacramento River Discovery Center than turn left. The campground entrance is aproximately 600ft. down on the right.
