Many guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and friendly camp hosts, making it a great stop for travelers. However, some concerns were raised about noisy campers, the condition of pit toilets, and occasional issues with camp host interactions. Extremely helpful and welcoming Camp Host. Bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. Showers took quarters, and were also very clean!! Campground was kept clean as well. Camped near camp host. She was very friendly and asked if we needed anything or had any issues to let her know. We liked that the bathrooms had a code for using. This way, only those were camping could use that facility. Camp was quiet at night. We were there for 3 nights in the middle of the week.

Nice campground. Pretty setting not far from freeway & other services. Loved having showers in a forest service campground. ( a quarter for about 3-5 minutes)

The host was excellent. The walking trails are beautiful. It would be great to have information signs on some of the trees and flora around the area. Being from out of the area, we didn’t recognize all the different types of trees and were curious. The price of the campsite was very fair. Unfortunately, we were pretty disappointed in how difficult it was to navigate the reservations site and appalled at the eight dollar fee for me For the self-serve reservations. It’s very high.

Staff were helpful, bathrooms were clean, and showers had good water pressure (just remember to bring some quarters).

Nice campground. We stayed at the end of February, so not many sites were occupied. There are trails which are easily accessible.
We did notice that there was a foul odor at the end of the CG furthest from the entrance.
