What Guests Are Saying
Sycamore Grove Campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained setting with green grass, spacious sites, and clean bathrooms, including coin-operated showers. Many guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and friendly camp hosts, making it a great stop for travelers. However, some concerns were raised about noisy campers, the condition of pit toilets, and occasional issues with camp host interactions. Overall, it's considered a lovely place to relax and enjoy nature, especially for short stays.

We liked the location of the campground to the Sacramento River and the town of Red Bluff. It seemed like it was a great place to hold up for the night while traveling through Northern California. The campground host needed to sale firewood.

Nice job given Covid-19. The port-a-potties seemed to be well maintained. I was a bit disappointed in some of the hikers/walkers lack of mask usage but that is a common problem all over California.

A very well kept facility. Camp host has always been friendly and helpful. A quiet spot not too far from the highway.

Having Full Electric hookups was great... we only stayed One Night. we got there before the sun went down and did some exploring. The gardens( even though its winter, and they were not kept up due to COVID) were really nice to walk through. we found a little path out to the river and enjoyed the river birds. Quite Peaceful.

This was a great spot for a night or two when traveling along I-5. The campground is within the National Forest's Red Bluff Recreation Area, which is very beautiful/peaceful place to explore and has several trails. The only disappointment with the campground was that the bathrooms and showers were closed, presumably due to the pandemic. All the other public campgrounds we've visited have managed to keep bathrooms and showers open and operate them safely.

Love this campground. Shady, mostly quiet and on the river. Beautiful spot.

Very well maintained park, very friendly staff and very quiet area with nice trails and scenery. Close to shopping, also.

It would of been helpful to know that their bathrooms were closed and showers. It would seem that would allow for a discount as well. Since we needed to be self contained, knowing what dump stations are available would be good too.
