Camping at SG is nice. You have lots of space to set up your camp 🏕 and your tables, etc. i liked how the showers and bathrooms were opened this time. You cannot swim in the river because it is too cold, but you can do fishing. We also explored Burney Falls and Whiskeytown Lake.

I stayed in site 15. A pull through site. I have a long bed Ram crew cab with a 28' 5th-wheel and fit with out any problems. I didn't unhook my trailer as I was just stopping for the night as this camp ground was ½ way to my destination up in Oregon.
The camp ground was very clean and not a lot of people there. Probably because it was 104° when I got there. But it made for a convenient stopover. I'll probably stay there again if I find myself passing by again.

The camp host, Gary was great! He was very knowlegable about the goings on around the area and answered all my questions. The campground was clean and quiet - even with a large group with dogs. I will definitely be back!
