Sycamore Grove Campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained setting with green grass, spacious sites, and clean bathrooms, including coin-operated showers. Many guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and friendly camp hosts, making it a great stop for travelers. However, some concerns were raised about noisy campers, the condition of pit toilets, and occasional issues with camp host interactions. Overall, it's considered a lovely place to relax and enjoy nature, especially for short stays.

We live near red bluff and we go there to camp in the evenings to get away about twice a month it's an easy getaway for us. . The camp host reported us to the forest ranger for staying too many times in a year. We are barely over the limit and these rules are set up to keep homeless people from staying in the park.
It was pathetic embarrassing and uncalled for the park is never full we are paying customers and should not be treated like this. I see drug addicts and actual homeless people staying at the park. I see homeless campers on the road too the park and they choose to harass us instead of the drug addicts and actual homeless people. The camp hosts are also feeding all the stray cats there and adding to the feral cat population.

Bathrooms were pretty awful. Needs some maintenance to make the hot vs cold water work properly. Would also be nice if they were cleaned more often. I found long little worms crawling around in the men's room. Wife found frogs hanging out in the women's

Hookups and bathroom were as advertised. Campground has lots of people that seems to be living there. I wasn't comfortable letting my kids play without having an adult with them full time and I wasn't about to leave my RV or bikes there unattended, locked or otherwise. Fine for an overnight stop heading north or south, but I wouldn't stay here for a weekend.

Super convenient. Right on the river. I’d definitely go there again.
