We were near the edge of the campground, so very spacious. It is a lovely place to stop off of I5. Well-kept, lots to see and do, just a great experience all the way around.

Pretty campground, good hiking, walking, bike path trails. Make sure to check your confirmation email for the bathroom/shower code. Bring quarters for showers and your own firewood.

I booked this campsite for my husband and our cousin who came here from LA. As my cousin was trying to use the restroom the man camphost came up to him and was extremely rude and disrespectful. He has some medical.problems he was assessing next to the bathroom and the camp host accused him of being shady and doing shady things when he was letting the air out of his colostomy bag. He said if you donr get around front you will have to leave this place immediately.
After this ordeal he came to their campsite and gave them another hard time saying what they were cooking was awful and to through it away.
First off not sure who he thinks he is or why he feels the need to talk to be this way. Maybe he should find another job.
The woman was quite respectful and very helpful. The price was fair and its a beautiful campground.
But I think who ever has this man in charge needs to access him because hes a disgrace.

Beautiful, peaceful sites amongst the Sycamore trees just a few miles off of I5 yet we only heard the wind and birds. Very helpful and friendly camp host. Note you must make an advance registration. Coming from WA we stayed overnight both directions going to Yosemite.

Getting There
From Interstate 5 at Red Bluff, take Antelope Boulevard east for about a quarter-mile. Turn right (south) on Sale Lane continue for approximately 3 mi to the Red Bluff Recreation Area entrance gate. Continue on that road until you get to the Sacra...
From Interstate 5 at Red Bluff, take Antelope Boulevard east for about a quarter-mile. Turn right (south) on Sale Lane continue for approximately 3 mi to the Red Bluff Recreation Area entrance gate. Continue on that road until you get to the Sacramento River Discovery Center than turn left. The campground entrance is aproximately 600 ft. down on the right.
Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- The campground features an electronic gate with set closing and opening times.
- For reservations or changes, call the provided phone number.
- Late check-outs are not allowed; guests must leave by the specified time.
Safety & rules
- Stay is limited to 14 consecutive days, followed by a 16-day absence before returning; a maximum of 28 days is allowed in a year.
- There is no designated swimming area; swimming is at your own risk.
Pets
- Dog owners must clean up after their pets using provided bags, or face a fine.
- A maximum of 2 dogs per campsite, and they must be leashed.
Amenities
- Showers require quarters for operation; no change is provided on-site.
Utilities
- There is no dump station available at the campground.
Fires & fuel
- Do not move firewood; buy it locally and burn it on-site to protect forests.
