Many guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and friendly camp hosts, making it a great stop for travelers. However, some concerns were raised about noisy campers, the condition of pit toilets, and occasional issues with camp host interactions. Pleasant enough. Watch-out though, there is on-line pre-registration only. Frustrating to be at the campground, with plenty of camp sites available, yet still required to “pre-register” on-line and pay an additional $8 to do so. Bring soap and a towel with you to the restroom. Camp host was friendly, and showed up soon after we arrived to make sure we had “pre-registered” on line, and told us the access-codes for the restrooms, etc. The road to the campground can flood, and there’s no other entrance/exit should that occur

Nice campground by the Sacramento River. Walking trails well maintained. Nice boat ramp and use is included in your camping fee. There’s no sewer hook up but can use the restroom and shower facilities provided. 2 miles from town that has anything you need.

The campground itself was great, nice sites, nice campground. It is off the beaten path and a great mid-point campground.

We were not sure what type of a campground it was when we first arrived: state or federal.

The only issue I had was that the pull thur sites open to the street, the hook ups and road direction was wrong. I would still stay there again.

We always enjoy our time in this campground when traveling north and south on I5. The campground is located on the river, away from freeway noise. There are many walking paths for running, or walking. Campground host has been friendly and helpful.

I rode my recumbent trike on the trails through the area. It's an easy ride with wonderful scenery, even in October. The campground was quiet and very clean. I appreciated being close to a freeway entrance for my morning departure in the dark.
