Many guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and friendly camp hosts, making it a great stop for travelers. However, some concerns were raised about noisy campers, the condition of pit toilets, and occasional issues with camp host interactions. We spent two very comfortable nights at Sycamore Grove in late September 2019. It was quiet and peaceful. I appreciated the pull-through for our medium sized trailer. Water and electrical hookups were in place. Would have been nice to have sewer but with holding tanks, not necessary. Overall we enjoyed our stay there and would stay again should we be in the area. Reservations through Reacreation.Gov were easy to obtain. The park host was friendly and helpful. We have no complaints.

We drive a Class A RV and the trees need trimming so we do not scrape limbs.

The campground had alot of homeless/ transient people in tents, made us feel a bit uneasy. Aside from that, there are several pull through sites for big rigs water and electric. Camp host was nice, there is no dump station.

We have camp there many times there before with out making reservation, When arrival there in 2019 we had to use our cell phone at Sycamore campground and place on hold for ten minutes or more to get a camp site for the night with our 24ft. trailer and could not get one of the vacant partial hookup RV sites there. That where not use the night we were there.
The camp host was very helpful. We enjoy bird watching there.
