Tannery Campground is praised for its beautiful, well-kept campsites and friendly, helpful hosts, making it a great spot for families. Many visitors enjoyed the clean facilities and easy access to the lake, although some noted the lack of potable water and steep campsites as drawbacks. Despite minor issues like noise from other campers and occasional litter, the overall experience is positive, with many guests looking forward to returning.

Overall it was a good camp ground but this particular campsite sits on a slope, so with the living space made it kind of hard with 3 little kids- chairs flipping over, wobbly table. I would say this campsite had about 10 ft of solid flat ground… so just beware of that, and bathroom that was right next to us, the men’s were out of order so you have to walk over to the next one which was busy.

The trees kept us cool and the views are great. The restrooms were clean but didn’t seem to be cleaned daily.

Beautiful location, scenery and beach with campsites that are nice size and not too close together. Clean bathrooms. Only 1 other site occupied at the beginning of the season made for a lovely quiet time. I just wish there were showers, or a shower shelter behind the restrooms with a hook so we could use our sun shower to shower. Also, notification that the water was not potable available before arrival is recommended!

Incredible campground with some massive sites. Renting a boat at the marina across the way was a great way to spend one of the days. My only complaint is that over memorial day weekend there was a group of local teens partying pretty hard until 2-3am every night and I expect the camp host to proactively address campers that are being excessively disruptive.

The campground itself was great. The lake and the views were spectacular. However, it was Memorial Day Weekend and although we expected the usual amount of noise, it appears that there is a local tradition of the entire local High School senior class camping, drinking, and playing loud music until 4am in the morning. The hosts should have intervened. Not exactly the serene camping experience. Highly recommend the campsite. Highly recommend against Memorial Day weekend or maybe any other holiday.
