Overall campground is very clean. A bit frightening at night with animals walking in the forest located right behind the campground. A few campers we had to shine our flashlights to scare away the animals. The campsite is very isolated, so keep that in mind if you camp here.

We spent a lovely peaceful night at Haypress! Because no fires are allowed, we brought some string lights which helped with the camping ambiance. There's a substantial walk to the campground, so pack light! The sites are sizeable, each with a picnic bench and a flat pad for tents. It's nice the campground is off the main trail to the beach a ways, so you don't encounter any of the crazy day-hike crowds near the campsites.

Nice campground, especially for $5 a night. Would’ve been nice if the picnic table wasn’t upside down because the legs were rotted. I would’ve been pissed if I had brought my family.

the bathroom facility is atrocious. At least add some chemicals to alleviate the smell like in regular port a potties. You are literally sitting on a pile of crap with no relief from the smell. Might as well give us shovels to dig a hole and bury the crap like we did in the Army.
