What Guests Are Saying
Haypress Campground offers a beautiful, quiet, and peaceful atmosphere, ideal for car camping and exploring nearby trails. Reviewers highlight the clean and well-maintained sites, with unique wildlife experiences enhancing their stay. The main drawback is the fire ban, and some tent sites may require leveling, but overall, it remains a popular and picturesque camping destination.

A short hike in, good spacing between campsites though no privacy. Secluded area close to the very busy Tennessee Valley Trail. A thick fog came in overnight, meaning foghorns throughout the night, which I actually enjoyed (my buddy who is a light sleeper - not so much). Fog led to condensation on eucalyptus trees above, which dripped down onto tent throughout the night and into the morning, so be prepared for that. Great spot for heading to the surrounding trails.

Nice location for hiking through the Marin Headlands, Mt. Tamalpais, and Muir Beach and Woods. Remember there is no water at camp site and I did not see water to filter nearby. Can't beat the price of $5 a night. It was nice to find that our tent and car were not bothered by anyone when we were gone.
