Dinkey Creek

We have been coming here for years, and our recent visit did not disappoint. Plenty of swimming spots, a lovely campsite, and very few people as we came up on a Sunday after school started.

First time here, won’t be the last. My daughter and i had a blast. I recommend going mid week when all the loud people aren’t around though.

Dinky Creek is one our favorite places to camp. The staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed in site #6. The road in the campground is in extremely poor condition and not easy to navigate when pulling our trailer. When leaving I hit my front bumper on a large boulder that is much too close to the road. This was a very frustrating end to an otherwise good experience. Upon exiting I brought this to "Granny's" attention at the kiosk, and suggested that the boulder need to me moved.

Dinkey Creek was great. There were a few locations to go down to the creek. If you know you know. Plenty of natural shade in many of the loops. Facilities were clean. Staff were friendly. 2 of the 4 showers were broken, which was a negative, so time your showers. That would be my on gripe. Shower Renovation!

The camp hosts located at Site E35 were absolutely wonderful! The restrooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and their welcoming attitude helped make our entire family’s stay at the campground enjoyable.

Please continue to encourage your staff to maintain that friendly and positive attitude. It truly goes a long way and makes guests want to return for many more stays in the future.

The campground was very popular (full) on the weekend (Friday night through all day Saturday); Most checked out Sunday morning. One site played loud music all day. Some sites ran generators til 10 pm. Most sites had campfires (which made it smoky)
The creek locations were popular but still fun. There is a problem with people littering.
The restrooms were plumbed; clean; and well-light.
The nearby General Store (which is not part of the park) has a small inventory but the staff was pleasant.
The park staff were pleasant and informative.

Great camping ground to visit. Kids look forward to our yearly trip to Dinkey Creek. They love the creek. No internet or cellphone service.

Not bad. The campsite wasn't perfect but wasn't terrible either.

31C is by far the best camping spot if you have a large family. We get this sight every year plus another sight depending on the number of people coming with us but by far this sight is the best. Highly recommend it.
