This year we’re new hosts and the lady that stayed in site #11was some what rude she was also charging some family members cash with no receipts and there should be a dress code for the workers to at least wear a bra the restrooms needed to be clean more often especially since it is a full camp ground

We have been camping at Dinkey Creek for over 40 years and have never paid to park at the overflow right across from the store. Prior to reaching the ranger's booth. This year we were told that we had to pay $10 per car per day but could not leave the cars overnight there. Only accepted cash and no receipts were given.

It was lovely to go up after the Labor Day crowds. I even saw a deer near my loop. I have camped here off and on all my life. I have never seen one in the campground before. Quiet people, nice experience.

I've been here twice and love being in the forest and going to the creek pools. There is a convenient little store next door to the campsite which is good if you need firewood or ice or other little things you might have forgotten or need. The people I've met there have always been really nice. There are very few bugs, unless you leave out food you might get bees/wasps or flies. You will not have cell reception and I had drive 20 min out of camp if I needed to get reception. The campground hosts also do a good job keeping the bathrooms clean. There are no showers, but you can buy tokens for showers next to the store.

Nice campground off the beaten track. Good level spots for tents. Beware of the squirrels tossing giant sugar pine cones from the tip top of the trees.

Most of the campsites are not suitable for trailers, even very small ones. Driveways are very short and eneven. Roads are in very bad repair, big holes and sloping.

Dinkey Crek has been wrecked. Well, unless you like crowds and noise.
Friday morning when I got there it was gorgeous. By Friday evening, a disaster.
2-3 cars per campsite. 8-10 people per campsite. And noisy unless maybe you go to the mountains to listen to other people's music.
A friend only goes during the week in early spring. Now I see why.
