This year camp hosts were great.! My main complaint is that we always try and get campsites by the bathroom, since we have little kids and one with special needs, we were very surprised not in the good way that the bathroom by our campsite was changed, and now they’re not flushing bathrooms, pretty gross because of the amount of people on these campsites that use them and the bathrooms not being clean that often it was pretty dirty and very smelly, me and my children did not used them and decided to walk to our closest flushing toilet it wasn’t convenient at all specially at night, it’s already hard to camp without electricity, showers, internet and now without flushing toilets, I’ve would of appreciated an email letting me know about this, we would of most likely cancel, we’re hoping you guys don’t change the last remaining flushing toilets so we don’t have to stop going here to camp we love it there .! But flushing toilets are a must and more with special needs.

We were very disappointed to find that the restrooms in our loop were changed to outhouses. We purposely planned to be near them. Next year we’ll choose a different loop and hope it doesn’t change too.
Also, cleaning out the fire pits and doing some raking in the campsite would have been nice. It seems there isn’t any maintenance like their use to be.

Turn southeast onto Dinkey Creek Road and travel 13 miles to the campground.
The campground is accessible via Highway 168, which connects to Clovis and leads to Shaver Lake.

- Register at the campground office upon arrival.
- Reserved sites must be occupied or they will be forfeited.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
