Solid campground. Highly recommend. There are many large trees (a majority of them have recovered from the bark beetle issue from a few years ago) and there is a decent amount of shade. There is a cool abandoned mill town nearby. Dinkey creek is directly adjacent.

Have used this campground for about 30 years. The last time last year was the first time I have ever had to deal with cattle in the camping area. Cow pies in the camp site with grandkids is not good. The water running out at the end of the camping season is becoming more frequently and needs to be addressed. Now that the dead trees have been removed it would be nice to see the roads in the campground fixed
This is and has been a great area to experience the outdoors with my family.
Thanks for letting me share my thoughts with you.

Arrived on Thursday night in mid September. Very empty the first night which was pleasant. The weekend it got a little crowded, but still a pleasant experience. Staff were very friendly. Dinkey creek is beautiful and was fun place to camp. We don’t have kids, but I could see it being a good place to take them for camping. The creek itself has some nice shallow areas for the kids to play in. There’s also restrooms and showers you pay to use at the small store at entrance. The only small compliant was that it seems that not all the restrooms were open. This caused the open ones to get dirty on Friday night when there much more campers. The tp ran out one evening, but a considerate camper left a spare roll! Overall it was a great campground. I hope to visit again and have recommended to others.

While everyone loves the rock slides there is a little creek is awesome. If you go behind the store and down the little road there is a bridge and the cutest creek with rocks to climb and some pretty good fishing.
