The Honeymoon Pools were very nice. The water was clear and cold. The campsites are a little less private than some would like, so this should be a consideration for those looking for privacy or who are looking to leave the typical city talk behind. Some people come to party, others to enjoy the land while it is still preserved and beautiful. It is also important to consider that one bucket of water is more than likely insufficient to put the fire out. Two or three would be better. Ron and Pat are very nice people, we generally spoke with them as they were seeing to our section of the campsite. I would visit again, but I would try and choose and campsite a little further away from the loud and wild and out energy campsites.

I loved this place. Great hiking areas, amazing natural pools and great little store with deli if you forgot something! Get as much information as you can about the site before you make the reservation.

This is a well maintained and tidy campground with so much to do! The camp hosts were amazing, keeping everything clean, campsite freshly raked and so friendly and happy to answer questions. We could have spent many more days (were only here 2) exploring the creek and surrounding hikes. The slides were great for the kids, my only complaint was due to the time of year (end of August) the water level was a bit low for fishing, so we may try to go earlier next year!

It was my favorite camping so far. So many things to do. We even stayed an extra day( total 4 days and 3 nights) because it was so much fun. Hosts of the camp were so friendly and funny. Our camp was 087 and it was perfect

Turn southeast onto Dinkey Creek Road and travel 13 miles to the campground.
The campground is accessible via Highway 168, which connects to Clovis and leads to Shaver Lake.

- Register at the campground office upon arrival.
- Reserved sites must be occupied or they will be forfeited.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
