By spot had a loft of grass, I had to put it down so I can put my tent. Not enough shade.

Spot E 059. Pit toilets no showers but super clean. Large camp spots. So many beautiful spots to check out. Honeymoon pool for fishing, rock slides for swimming, and abandoned logging village for hiking.

I've been coming to Dinkey Creek since I was 11 and I'm 65 now! Usually the staff is so friendly and nice but not this year! They weren't unfriendly but not friendly! They told me they were busy cleaning over 60 sites but I saw maybe 2 times they cleaned a spot and the toilets were always backed up! I Love this place not only for the Beauty but the Friendliness of the staff and I was disappointed this time. I'll still continue to come as I Love this Place!

We had an amazing stay at Dinkey Creek Campground and can’t wait to come back! The campground is beautiful, well-maintained, and surrounded by towering trees that provide plenty of shade. Dinkey Creek is crystal clear and was a huge hit with both the kids and adults! We spent hours swimming, exploring, and relaxing by the water.

The location is perfect for outdoor adventures. We enjoyed hiking, fishing, and taking short drives to nearby Shaver Lake and McKinley Grove to see the giant sequoias. It was the perfect balance of adventure and peaceful downtime.

The campsites were spacious and gave us enough room to spread out while still feeling connected to nature. We also appreciated how family-friendly the campground was. It made for an unforgettable trip with our large group, and everyone—from the youngest kids to the grandparents—had a great time.

If you’re looking for a scenic mountain getaway with beautiful water, great hiking, and a relaxing atmosphere, Dinkey Creek is hard to beat. Highly recommend!

This is one of the best locations at this campsite. Behind some boulders for privacy with a perfect view of the mountains past the creek. Flushing toilets and sink in one bathroom nearby. The other was outhouse style. Both very clean. The camp host is lovely and very accessible. Super fun campsite with natural pools of icey water to play and lounge in. Very cool 80 yr old logging village preserved to walk through with wonderful descriptions to read. Loved it here

The campsite was clean and accessible. The campground was not crowded. The bathrooms were cleaned and stocked. The camp hostess, Tammy, was welcoming and helpful with information about local events. The creek is nearby and accessible. There are many things to see and do within a short walk or drive. Recommend the pine logging town just up the hill.

We stayed here for one night before our backpacking trip. It’s a big campground that was crowded and was a little noisy late at night during 4th of July weekend. So I understand people wanted to party. The bathrooms were clean.
