Nice cabins with new tables and fire rings. The lake is beautiful and you can rent kayaks and SUPs there. The heaters keep cabins toasty at night and there are bathrooms and showers by the camp store. Make sure you bring extra lanterns, the cabins can be dark

I stayed in Mazanita Cabin #14. The heaters in the cabin kept me warm at night, almost too warm!
Cabin #14 has a view of the lake and the store is convenient. They have flushable bathrooms around the campsite which is extra nice as well as showers!

Cabins were clean and well kept. Almost felt new. The staff was great and kept all the public areas in very good order. Manzanita lakes and the sourrounding park area is beautiful. Gem of a spot.

This was our 4th year coming to the Manzanita Lake cabins in Lassen Park. We're looking forward to next year! Very clean site and the cabins are well kept. Maybe a refresh on the blinds would be helpful...some don't work at all. The little store is very convenient and the showers are great. No cell service...unless you walk around to the back side of the lake. Lots of deer wandered through the camp grazing. We rented the canoes down by the water...and really enjoyed seeing Manzanita Lake from the middle!

No problems - cabin at Manzanita Lake excellent condition. During periods of nice weather, I suggest exploring the park during the week to avoid more crowded/popular areas/trails.

It is a beautiful place to visit. There are endless things to do. My family have been able to hike all four different types of volcanoes all in one park!

The window coverings were severely damaged and did not offer any coverage. I had to put up a tarp for privacy.

The Manzanita Lake Camping Cabins are located approximately one hour east of Redding in Northern California. Redding is approximately three hours north of Sacramento on State Highway 5 and approximately 4.5 hours from the San Francisco Bay Area. From Redding, drive 48 mi east on State Highway 44. Turn right into Lassen Volcanic National Park and continue one mile south to the Manzanita Lake Campground, Camper Store and Cabins.
Access to Manzanita Lake Camping Cabins is via State Highway 44, which connects to Interstate 5 in Redding, approximately 48 miles to the west.
