Amazing view of the lake, calm atmosphere, and nearby hiking trails (driving distance). There is no wifi at the cabin but there is wifi at the museum about 1/2 mi away. This campsite was not shady at all - that was unenjoyable when cooking breakfast and dinner but we ate on the porch where it was shaded.

Really good cabins close to the lake. We were able to easily access the cabin per the instructions. The fire pit outside was great. The camper store and the restrooms are quite nearby.

Redding is approximately three hours north of Sacramento on State Highway 5 and approximately 4.5 hours from the San Francisco Bay Area. From Redding, drive 48 mi east on State Highway 44. Turn right into Lassen Volcanic National Park and continue one mile south to the Manzanita Lake Campground, Camper Store and Cabins.
