Be sure to remind users to bring blankets and pillows. It was a cold night sleeping in our clothes without a pillow.
I liked the cabin, just wish we had been better prepared.
Lassen is a new favorite NP.

Stayed in the same cabin #15 for three years in a row, blinds have yet to be repaired, price charged should be able to repair window blinds after three years. Other than that very enjoyable stay.

Second stay in the cabins - this time we had cabin 11 and location was great! We brought paddleboards and spent a lot of time on Manzanita Lake. Hiked Hat Lake to Paradise Meadows and ran into a bit of snow at the top but it was ok. Make sure to hit up the campground store for some soft-serve ice cream! Looking forward to our next visit already.

Second stay in the cabins - this time we had cabin 11 and location was great! We brought paddleboards and spent a lot of time on Manzanita Lake. Great camping spot for a family. Manzanita Lake was a great spot for hiking, swimming and kayaking. Our campsites (T1 and T2) however, did not have picnic tables. We would return but maybe book another campsite.

The Manzanita Lake Camping Cabins are located approximately one hour east of Redding in Northern California. Redding is approximately three hours north of Sacramento on State Highway 5 and approximately 4.5 hours from the San Francisco Bay Area. From Redding, drive 48 mi east on State Highway 44. Turn right into Lassen Volcanic National Park and continue one mile south to the Manzanita Lake Campground, Camper Store and Cabins.
